Walking in the rain... 9th Dec 2011

I set out in the rain and sleet with my hood up not looking forward to getting cold and wet with the dog but with a camera in my pocket just in case...

 I found a landscape transformed by the wetness, colours heightened, with the sounds of dripping in amongst the trees. The paths have also changed with the tyre tracks and footprints, our marks, made more prominent in the mud I'm walking through. I'm glad I've ventured out to see the woods in a new light.
